Efferalgan Codeine 500 mg / 30 mg

Indication

Acute moderate pain in adults and adolescents over 12 years (≥ 31 kg) where paracetamol or NSAIDs alone are insufficient.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol
• Codeine phosphate

Direction

Oral use. Dissolve one effervescent tablet in a glass of water and drink. Space doses by at least 6 hours; do not exceed 6 tablets per day. Maximum treatment duration without medical advice: 3 days.

• and dependence. Always ask a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if any allergic reaction

Precautions

• Prescription only (Rx). Contains codeine — may cause drowsiness
• constipation
• and dependence with prolonged use. Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol or codeine. Not for use in children under 12
• during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• in patients with respiratory insufficiency
• or with hypersensitivity. Avoid alcohol and driving until the effect on you is known.
