Gabapentin GPO 300 mg

Indication

Treatment of epilepsy (as adjunctive therapy for partial seizures with or without secondary generalisation) and treatment of peripheral neuropathic pain such as painful diabetic neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia.

Direction

Oral use. As directed by the physician. Swallow capsules whole with water. Dose is typically titrated starting at 300 mg on Day 1 and adjusted according to response and tolerability up to the maximum recommended daily dose.

• May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery and avoid alcohol while taking this medicine. Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
