Quemox 500 mg per tablet

Indication

Treatment of intestinal worm infestations including hookworm, pinworm, whipworm, roundworm, and threadworm — single or mixed infestation. Chocolate flavour, sugar free.

Ingredients

• Mebendazole

Direction

Adults and children above 2 years: chew 1 tablet as a single dose. A second course of treatment is recommended after 2 to 3 weeks if the patient is not cured. For prevention, advised to take one dose every 6 months.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated
• if abdominal pain
• diarrhoea
• rash
• or any allergic reaction occurs
• stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not use in children under 2 years without medical advice. Read the leaflet before use. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
