Propofan Paracetamol / Codeine / Caffeine

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, dental pain, body aches, muscular pain, period pain, and pain associated with flu-like states.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol
• Codeine
• Caffeine

Direction

Oral route. Swallow one capsule with a glass of water. Space doses by at least 4 hours; do not exceed the maximum daily dose recommended on the leaflet or by the prescriber.

Side effects

• May cause drowsiness
• nausea
• vomiting
• constipation
• palpitations
• and dependence. Always ask a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if any allergic reaction
• skin rash
• breathing difficulty
• or unusual symptoms occur.

Precautions

• Prescription only ('uniquement sur ordonnance'). Contains codeine — may cause drowsiness
• constipation
• and dependence with prolonged use. Contains caffeine — avoid combining with other caffeine sources. Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol or codeine. Avoid alcohol. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially in case of liver/kidney problems
• pregnancy
