Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Community-acquired pneumonia - Tonsillitis and pharyngitis - Sexually transmitted infections (Chlamydia) - Acute bacterial sinusitis
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, usually for 3 to 5 days. Can be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Diarrhea or loose stools
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Headache
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Allergic to macrolide antibiotics
- History of liver dysfunction
- Myasthenia gravis history
- Patients with QT interval prolongation
- Avoid taking with aluminum/magnesium antacids
