Methycobal 500 500 μg

Indication

Treatment of peripheral neuropathies (e.g. diabetic neuropathy, neuralgia), megaloblastic anaemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency, and other conditions associated with vitamin B12 deficiency.

Ingredients

• Mecobalamin

Direction

Oral route. Adults: usually one tablet (500 μg) three times daily, or as directed by physician. Refer to the leaflet for full prescribing information.

Side effects

• May rarely cause nausea
• anorexia
• diarrhoea
• skin rash. Always ask a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop and seek advice if allergic reaction or unusual symptoms occur.
