Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to amoxicillin + clavulanic acid, including respiratory tract infections, ear-nose-throat infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, and bone and joint infections.
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin
- Clavulanic acid
Direction
Oral use. Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of water and drink immediately. Take at the beginning of a meal to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Follow the dosage prescribed by your physician and complete the full course.
Side effects
- May cause diarrhoea
- nausea
- vomiting
- abdominal pain
- skin rash
- candidiasis. Rarely: severe allergic reaction
- liver problems. Always ask a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop and seek immediate advice if severe allergic reaction or persistent diarrhoea occurs.
Precautions
- Prescription only (Rx). Do not use if allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins. Inform your doctor of any history of allergy
- liver disease
- kidney disease
- mononucleosis
- or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use.
