Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to amoxicillin + clavulanic acid, including respiratory tract infections, ear-nose-throat infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, and bone and joint infections.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin
• Clavulanic acid

Direction

Oral use. Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of water and drink immediately. Take at the beginning of a meal to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Follow the dosage prescribed by your physician and complete the full course.

Side effects

• May cause diarrhoea
• nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain
• skin rash
• candidiasis. Rarely: severe allergic reaction
• liver problems. Always ask a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop and seek immediate advice if severe allergic reaction or persistent diarrhoea occurs.

Precautions

• Prescription only (Rx). Do not use if allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins. Inform your doctor of any history of allergy

• mononucleosis
• or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use.
