OFLAB-OZ Ofloxacin 200 mg / Ornidazole 500 mg

Indication

Treatment of mixed bacterial and protozoal infections, including infectious diarrhoea, dysentery, gynaecological infections, mouth/dental infections, surgical site infections, and intra-abdominal infections.

Ingredients

• Ofloxacin
• Ornidazole

Direction

Oral use. As directed by the physician. Swallow the film-coated tablet whole with a glass of water. Complete the full prescribed course.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• metallic taste
• dizziness
• headache
• skin rash
• tendinitis. Always ask a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop and seek immediate advice if severe allergic reaction
• tendon pain
• or unusual symptoms occur.

Precautions

• Prescription only (Rx). Do not use if allergic to fluoroquinolones
• nitroimidazoles
• or any excipient. Avoid alcohol during treatment and for 48 hours after. May cause drowsiness — avoid driving until effect is known. Not recommended during pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• or in children. Inform your doctor of any history of epilepsy
• central nervous system disorders
• kidney/liver problems
• or QT
• interval issues.
