Indication

- Acute and chronic dental infections - Dental abscesses - Periodontitis and gingivitis - Stomatitis - Prevention of post-operative dental infections

Ingredients

• Spiramycin and Metronidazole

Direction

Take tablets orally with a glass of water, preferably during or at the end of a meal to minimize stomach upset. Usually taken 2 to 3 times daily as prescribed.

Side effects

• Metallic taste in the mouth
• Nausea and vomiting
• Stomach pain or cramps
• Darkening of urine
• Loss of appetite

Precautions

• Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment
• History of macrolide allergy
• Monitor for neurological disorders
• Caution in patients with liver impairment
• Discontinue if incoordination or dizziness occurs
