Indication
Bronchodilator for relief of bronchospasm in conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Ingredients
- Salbutamol
Direction
As directed by physician. Typical adult dose: 2-4 mg, 3-4 times daily. Pediatric dose adjusted by weight.
Side effects
- May cause tremor
- headache
- palpitations
- nervousness
- or muscle cramps. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.
Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
- hyperthyroidism
- or diabetes. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
