Indication

Fluoroquinolone antibiotic for treatment of bacterial infections including respiratory tract, urinary tract, and skin infections.

Oral route. Adult: 250-750 mg once daily as prescribed by physician. See package insert for full prescribing information.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• diarrhea
• headache
• dizziness
• tendinitis
• or photosensitivity. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.

Precautions

• Avoid in pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• and children. Use with caution in patients with tendon disorders
• epilepsy
