Indication
Fluoroquinolone antibiotic for treatment of bacterial infections including respiratory tract, urinary tract, and skin infections.
Ingredients
- Levofloxacin
Direction
Oral route. Adult: 250-750 mg once daily as prescribed by physician. See package insert for full prescribing information.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- diarrhea
- headache
- dizziness
- tendinitis
- or photosensitivity. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.
Precautions
- Avoid in pregnancy
- breastfeeding
- and children. Use with caution in patients with tendon disorders
- epilepsy
- or QT prolongation. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
