Indication
Antifungal indicated for treatment of fungal infections of skin, hair, and nails (tinea infections).
Ingredients
- Griseofulvin
Direction
Oral route. Adult: 500 mg once daily with fatty meal. Duration depends on the type of infection.
Side effects
- May cause headache
- nausea
- photosensitivity
- or rash. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.
Precautions
- Avoid in pregnancy
- severe liver disease
- and porphyria. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. May interact with oral contraceptives and anticoagulants.
