Indication

Second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic for treatment of bacterial infections including respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue infections.

Ingredients

• Cefuroxime axetil

Direction

Oral route. Adult: 250-500 mg twice daily as prescribed by physician.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• diarrhea
• abdominal pain
• headache
• or allergic reactions. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.

Precautions

• Avoid in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
