Cloxalin 500 500 mg

Indication

Beta-lactamase resistant penicillin antibiotic for treatment of infections caused by penicillinase-producing staphylococci (skin, soft tissue, respiratory tract infections).

Ingredients

• Cloxacillin sodium

Direction

Oral route. Adult: 250-500 mg every 6 hours, taken on an empty stomach, as prescribed by physician.

Side effects

• May cause gastrointestinal upset
• rash
• or allergic reactions. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.

Precautions

• Avoid in patients with known hypersensitivity to penicillins. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
