Indication
- Lower respiratory tract infections - Otitis media (ear infection) - Sinusitis - Skin and soft tissue infections - Urinary tract infections - Dental infections
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium
Direction
Take orally at the start of a meal. Usually one tablet every 8 to 12 hours as prescribed.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Skin rash or hives
- Candidiasis (yeast infection)
Precautions
- Allergic reaction to penicillins/cephalosporins
- History of liver dysfunction
- Renal impairment adjustment needed
- Potential for antibiotic
- associated colitis
- May reduce oral contraceptive efficacy
