Indication
Treatment of protozoal infection, intestinal and extra-intestinal amoebiasis, lambliasis, acute ulcerative gingivitis, urogenital trichomoniasis, giardiasis, and Vincent's infection.
Ingredients
- Metronidazole
Direction
For oral administration only. Adult: 400 mg 2-3 times daily as prescribed by physician. Please refer to enclosed package insert for more information.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- metallic taste
- headache
- dizziness
- or dark urine. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.
Precautions
- Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after. Use with caution in pregnancy
- breastfeeding
- and severe hepatic disease. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
