Axcel Metronidazole-400 400 mg

Indication

Treatment of protozoal infection, intestinal and extra-intestinal amoebiasis, lambliasis, acute ulcerative gingivitis, urogenital trichomoniasis, giardiasis, and Vincent's infection.

Direction

For oral administration only. Adult: 400 mg 2-3 times daily as prescribed by physician. Please refer to enclosed package insert for more information.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• metallic taste
• headache
• dizziness
• or dark urine. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.

Precautions

• Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after. Use with caution in pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• and severe hepatic disease. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
