Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Tonsillitis and pharyngitis - Ear infections (otitis media) - Sexually transmitted infections
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
Direction
Take orally once daily as prescribed. Usually taken one hour before or two hours after a meal.
Side effects
- Diarrhea or loose stools
- Nausea and stomach pain
- Vomiting or indigestion
- Dizziness or headache
Precautions
- Known allergy to macrolide antibiotics
- History of liver or kidney disease
- Heart rhythm disorders (QT prolongation)
- History of myasthenia gravis
