Flagyl 500 mg

Indication

Antibacterial and antiparasitic agent for treatment of anaerobic bacterial infections, amoebiasis, trichomoniasis, and giardiasis.

Ingredients

• Metronidazole

Direction

Oral route. Adult: 500 mg 2-3 times daily as prescribed by physician. Take after meals with water.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• metallic taste
• headache
• dizziness
• or dark urine. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.

Precautions

• Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after. Use with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
