Indication
Antibacterial and antiparasitic agent for treatment of anaerobic bacterial infections, amoebiasis, trichomoniasis, and giardiasis.
Ingredients
- Metronidazole
Direction
Oral route. Adult: 500 mg 2-3 times daily as prescribed by physician. Take after meals with water.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- metallic taste
- headache
- dizziness
- or dark urine. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.
Precautions
- Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 48 hours after. Use with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
