Indication

Systemic antibacterial (lincosamide) for treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria and Gram-positive organisms.

Ingredients

Direction

Oral route. Adult: 500 mg every 6-8 hours as prescribed by physician. Take on an empty stomach.

Side effects

May cause diarrhea (sometimes severe)
nausea
abdominal pain
or allergic reactions. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent side effects occur.

Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment. Risk of pseudomembranous colitis. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
