Indication
Local treatment of inflammatory or infected non-perforated otitis externa caused by germs sensitive to neomycin and polymyxin B.
Ingredients
- Neomycin sulfate
- Polymyxin B sulfate
- Dexamethasone metasulfobenzoate sodium
Direction
Ear route. Instill 2 to 5 drops in the affected ear, 2 times daily for 7 days. Read the leaflet carefully before use. Do not swallow.
Side effects
- May cause local irritation
- allergic contact dermatitis of the ear canal
- or rarely ototoxicity if the eardrum is perforated. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Prescription only medicine β ear route only
- do not swallow. Contraindicated in case of eardrum perforation. Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy
- breastfeeding
- or for young children. Contains thimerosal as a preservative.
