A-Cerumen Ear hygiene solution — surfactant-based ear cleansing unidose

Indication

Ear hygiene — facilitates the removal of earwax (cerumen) and helps prevent the formation of cerumen plugs. Daily or regular use as part of ear hygiene routine.

Ingredients

• Sodium cocoyl sarcosinate
• Cocamide DEA
• PEG
• 120 methyl glucose dioleate

Direction

To be rinsed. Tilt head sideways, instill the contents of one unidose into the ear canal, hold for one minute, then rinse the ear with lukewarm water. Use morning and evening for 3 to 5 days, then once or twice a week for maintenance. Read the leaflet carefully before use.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated. May occasionally cause local irritation in the ear canal. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Do not swallow. Do not insert the tip of the unidose too deeply into the ear canal to avoid irritating it. Do not use in case of eardrum perforation
• otitis
• or in patients with a tympanic aerator. Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not use an already opened unidose (risk of rapid bacterial contamination). If pain occurs
