Indication
Combikit for the syndromic treatment of vaginal discharge in women β covers bacterial (Azithromycin), fungal (Fluconazole), and trichomonal/anaerobic (Secnidazole) causes of vaginitis.
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
- Fluconazole
- Secnidazole
Direction
Take all 4 tablets as a single dose with water, or as directed by the physician. Oral use only.
Side effects
- Nausea
- abdominal discomfort
- headache
- metallic taste
- dizziness
- transient liver enzyme elevation. Rare: allergic reactions
- photosensitivity. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if severe or unusual effects occur.
Precautions
- Prescription drug β for oral use only. Contraindicated in pregnancy (Secnidazole) and in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component. Avoid alcohol during and for 48 hours after Secnidazole. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during breastfeeding.
