Indication

Prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma in pediatric patients aged 6 to 14 years; prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction; relief of symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Direction

Children 6-14 years: chew one tablet daily in the evening, or as directed by the physician. See package insert for full prescribing information.

Side effects

• Headache
• abdominal pain
• diarrhoea
• upper respiratory infection. Rare: liver enzyme elevation
• allergic reactions
• neuropsychiatric effects (mood changes
• sleep disturbances
• suicidal ideation). Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if severe or unusual effects occur.
