Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Sinusitis and tonsillitis - Community-acquired pneumonia - Skin and soft tissue infections - Sexually transmitted diseases - Ear infections (otitis media)
Ingredients
- Azithromycin
Direction
Take orally once daily as prescribed. For best absorption, take at least one hour before or two hours after meals.
Side effects
- Diarrhea or loose stools
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain or cramping
- Dizziness or headache
- Skin rash or itching
Precautions
- Known hypersensitivity to macrolide antibiotics
- Existing liver or kidney impairment
- History of QT interval prolongation
- Myasthenia gravis exacerbation risk
- Avoid concurrent use of antacids
