Indication
- Community-acquired pneumonia - Acute bacterial sinusitis - Chronic bronchitis exacerbations - Skin and skin structure infections - Complicated intra-abdominal infections - Pelvic inflammatory disease
Ingredients
- Moxifloxacin
Direction
Take orally once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Altered taste sensation
Precautions
- Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture
- May cause QT interval prolongation
- Contraindicated in patients with Myasthenia Gravis
- Risk of peripheral neuropathy
- Potential for central nervous system effects
- Avoid in patients with history of seizures
