Indication
- Urinary tract infections - Otitis media - Pharyngitis and tonsillitis - Chronic bronchitis exacerbations - Uncomplicated gonorrhea - Typhoid fever
Ingredients
- Cefixime
Direction
Take orally with or without food. Usually administered once or twice daily as prescribed by a physician.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Skin rash
- Dizziness
- Dyspepsia
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins
- History of gastrointestinal disease
- Severe renal impairment
- Monitor for pseudomembranous colitis
