Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Pharyngitis or tonsillitis - Community-acquired pneumonia - Skin and soft tissue infections - H. pylori eradication
Ingredients
- Clarithromycin
Direction
Take orally twice daily for 7 to 14 days as prescribed. May be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Altered taste (metallic taste)
- Abdominal pain
- Headache
Precautions
- History of macrolide allergy
- Severe liver or kidney impairment
- Risk of QT prolongation
- Potential for drug
- drug interactions
