Indication
Calcium channel blocker used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain).
Ingredients
- Amlodipine
Direction
One tablet once daily, or as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Common: ankle swelling
- flushing
- headache
- dizziness. Discontinue and seek care for severe hypotension or allergic reaction.
Precautions
- Prescription
- only medicine. Consult a doctor before use if you have severe hypotension
- severe aortic stenosis
- or liver disease. May cause ankle swelling.
