Indication
- Primary hypercholesterolemia - Reduction of cardiovascular risk - Treatment of mixed dyslipidemia - Prevention of coronary heart disease events
Ingredients
- Simvastatin
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily in the evening. May be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Muscle pain or weakness
- Headache
- Digestive system disturbances
- Increased liver enzymes
- Upper respiratory infection symptoms
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Avoid consumption of grapefruit juice
- Monitor liver enzyme levels regularly
- Notify doctor of unexplained muscle pain
- Contraindicated with active liver disease
