Indication

Pharmacy medicine scientifically formulated with 19 vitamins and minerals for mum and baby to help reduce the risk of neural tube defects (such as spina bifida), help prevent iron deficiency, and assist with baby's healthy growth and brain development. Take during pre-conception and pregnancy.

Direction

Take 1 tablet daily while trying to conceive and throughout pregnancy. Take Elevit daily for 4 weeks prior to conception (or as directed by your healthcare professional). Take the whole tablet with water and preferably a meal. If suffering morning sickness, take Elevit at midday or in the evening.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated. Iron may occasionally cause mild gastrointestinal upset such as nausea or constipation. Discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse reaction occurs.

Precautions
