Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetics - Stroke risk reduction in hypertensive patients - Management of heart failure
Ingredients
- Losartan Potassium
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food, as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Back pain
- Hyperkalemia (high blood potassium)
- Nasal congestion
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy
- Monitor serum potassium levels regularly
- Use with caution in renal impairment
- Risk of hypotension in dehydrated patients
- Avoid use with potassium
- sparing diuretics
