Indication
Treatment of constipation; regulation of physiological colonic rhythm. Treatment and prevention of hepatic encephalopathy.
Ingredients
- Lactulose
Direction
Adults and adolescents: 15-45 mL starting dose, 15-30 mL maintenance daily. Children and infants per leaflet.
Side effects
- May cause flatulence
- abdominal discomfort
- or diarrhea. Seek medical advice if severe reactions occur.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- especially in diabetes
- galactosemia
- or persistent constipation.
