Indication

Multi-symptom cold and flu relief. DayQuil (non-drowsy): relieves headache, fever, sore throat, minor aches and pains, nasal congestion, sinus pressure, and cough. NyQuil (nighttime): relieves headache, fever, sore throat, minor aches and pains, sneezing, runny nose, and cough.

Ingredients

• Acetaminophen
• Dextromethorphan HBr
• Phenylephrine HCl (DayQuil)
• Doxylamine succinate (NyQuil)

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: take 2 liquicaps with water every 4 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 liquicaps in 24 hours. Use DayQuil during the day and NyQuil at night. Read the on-pack directions and warnings carefully.

Side effects

• NyQuil may cause marked drowsiness. May also cause excitability
• dizziness
• nausea
• or stomach upset. Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or last more than 7 days
• fever lasts more than 3 days
• or any adverse reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose. Severe liver damage may occur if more than the recommended dose is taken
• or if used with other products containing acetaminophen
• or with 3 or more alcoholic drinks daily. Do not use with MAO inhibitors or other cough/cold medicines. Consult a doctor before use if you have liver disease
