Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Chronic stable angina - Vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina - Coronary artery disease symptoms
Ingredients
- Amlodipine Besylate
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. Follow the exact dosage prescribed by your physician.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (swelling of ankles)
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Fatigue and sleepiness
- Heart palpitations
- Flushing or warmth in face
Precautions
- Monitor for hypotension (low blood pressure)
- Use caution with liver impairment
- Potential for increased angina/infarction risk
- Caution in severe aortic stenosis
