Indication

Adrenocortical steroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive activity. Used in the treatment of inflammatory and allergic conditions, autoimmune disorders, adrenal insufficiency, certain cancers, and as an adjunct in severe infections under medical supervision.

Ingredients

Direction

Adults: 1 to 5 tablets, 2 to 4 times a day, or as directed by the physician. Dose should be individualised based on indication, severity, and patient response. Avoid abrupt discontinuation after prolonged use.

Side effects

• May include weight gain

• fluid retention
• hypertension
• hyperglycaemia
• mood changes
• insomnia
• gastric irritation
• and increased susceptibility to infection. Long
• term use may cause adrenal suppression
