Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Diabetic nephropathy in Type 2 diabetics - Stroke risk reduction in hypertensive patients - Heart failure management
Ingredients
- Losartan Potassium
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food. The dose may be adjusted by a physician based on clinical response.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Hyperkalemia (high potassium)
- Upper respiratory infection
- Low blood pressure (hypotension)
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Monitor blood potassium levels regularly
- Risk of hypotension with diuretics
- Caution in patients with renal impairment
- Do not combine with Aliskiren in diabetics
