Indication

- Essential hypertension (high blood pressure) - Reducing risk of stroke in patients with hypertension - Treatment of patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on monotherapy

Ingredients

• Losartan potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide

Direction

Take one tablet orally once daily. Can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.

Side effects

• Dizziness
• Fatigue
• Upper respiratory infection
• Electrolyte imbalance
• Hypotension

Precautions

• Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Monitor kidney and liver function
• Risk of electrolyte imbalance
• Caution in patients with severe renal impairment
• Potential for orthostatic hypotension
