Indication
- Primary hypercholesterolemia - Mixed dyslipidemia - Prevention of cardiovascular events - Hypertriglyceridemia - Slowing progression of atherosclerosis
Ingredients
- Rosuvastatin Calcium
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
Side effects
- Headache
- Myalgia (muscle pain)
- Asthenia (weakness)
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Avoid in patients with active liver disease
- Monitor for unexplained muscle pain or weakness
- Caution in patients with renal impairment
- Limit alcohol consumption during treatment
