Fena Aceclofenac 100 mg / Paracetamol 500 mg per film-coated tablet

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, dental pain, post-operative and post-traumatic pain, dysmenorrhoea, and other musculoskeletal disorders.

Ingredients

• Aceclofenac
• Paracetamol

Direction

Adults: as directed by the physician. Usual dose 1 tablet two to three times a day, preferably with or after food. Maximum 3 tablets per day. Read the enclosed leaflet carefully before using this medicine.

Side effects

• May include gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea
• dyspepsia
• abdominal pain
• diarrhoea)
• dizziness
• headache
• skin rash
• and elevated liver enzymes. Serious adverse events such as gastrointestinal bleeding
• ulceration
• perforation
• and cardiovascular thrombotic events can occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist immediately if you experience black/tarry stools
• severe stomach pain
• chest pain
• shortness of breath
• jaundice
• or signs of allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Prescription
• only medicine. Use under medical supervision. Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to aceclofenac
• diclofenac
• paracetamol or other NSAIDs
• history of asthma or allergic reactions to NSAIDs
• active or recurrent peptic ulcer/gastrointestinal bleeding
• severe liver/kidney/cardiac impairment
• third trimester of pregnancy
• or bleeding disorders. Use with caution in the elderly
• patients with hypertension
• or on concurrent anticoagulant therapy.
