Indication
Symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, dental pain, post-operative and post-traumatic pain, dysmenorrhoea, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
Ingredients
- Aceclofenac
- Paracetamol
Direction
Adults: as directed by the physician. Usual dose 1 tablet two to three times a day, preferably with or after food. Maximum 3 tablets per day. Read the enclosed leaflet carefully before using this medicine.
Side effects
- May include gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea
- dyspepsia
- abdominal pain
- diarrhoea)
- dizziness
- headache
- skin rash
- and elevated liver enzymes. Serious adverse events such as gastrointestinal bleeding
- ulceration
- perforation
- and cardiovascular thrombotic events can occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist immediately if you experience black/tarry stools
- severe stomach pain
- chest pain
- shortness of breath
- jaundice
- or signs of allergic reaction.
Precautions
- Prescription
- only medicine. Use under medical supervision. Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to aceclofenac
- diclofenac
- paracetamol or other NSAIDs
- history of asthma or allergic reactions to NSAIDs
- active or recurrent peptic ulcer/gastrointestinal bleeding
- severe liver/kidney/cardiac impairment
- third trimester of pregnancy
- or bleeding disorders. Use with caution in the elderly
- patients with hypertension
- or on concurrent anticoagulant therapy.
