Indication
- Primary hypercholesterolemia - Mixed dyslipidemia - Prevention of cardiovascular events - Slowing progression of atherosclerosis - Hypertriglyceridemia
Ingredients
- Rosuvastatin
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. Dose may be adjusted based on medical response.
Side effects
- Headache
- Myalgia (muscle pain)
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Constipation
- Asthenia (weakness)
Precautions
- Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Avoid in active liver disease
- Risk of myopathy and rhabdomyolysis
- Monitor liver enzymes regularly
- Caution in patients with renal impairment
