Indication
Symptomatic relief of heartburn (brûlures d'estomac) and gastric hyperacidity. Antacid and antiflatulent oral suspension (suspension buvable) in single-dose sachets.
Ingredients
- Aluminium hydroxide
- Magnesium hydroxide
Direction
Adults: 1 sachet 3 to 4 times a day, taken between meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Squeeze the contents of the sachet directly into the mouth. Do not exceed the recommended dose without medical advice.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated. May occasionally cause mild constipation or diarrhoea. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or any unusual reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy
- breastfeeding
- or if you have kidney impairment. Antacids may reduce the absorption of other medications — separate doses by at least 1 to 2 hours. Do not exceed the recommended duration of use (more than 7 to 10 days) without medical advice.
