Indication
- Rheumatoid arthritis - Osteoarthritis - Ankylosing spondylitis - Acute musculoskeletal disorders - Postoperative pain
Ingredients
- Piroxicam
Direction
Take 20mg orally once daily with food or milk to minimize stomach upset. For topical gel, apply a small amount to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily.
Side effects
- Nausea or dyspepsia
- Stomach pain
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Photosensitivity (skin reactions)
Precautions
- History of stomach ulcers
- Cardiovascular disease risk
- Severe renal impairment
- Aspirin
