Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Chronic stable angina - Vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina - Coronary artery disease
Ingredients
- Amlodipine
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food. It is recommended to take the medication at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (swelling of ankles/feet)
- Dizziness
- Flushing
- Palpitations
- Fatigue or somnolence
Precautions
- Monitor for symptomatic hypotension
- Caution in patients with hepatic impairment
- May cause peripheral edema
- Risk of increased angina during initiation
