Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Blood pressure management in patients not controlled on monotherapy
Ingredients
- Amlodipine and Telmisartan
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, with or without food. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (swelling of ankles/feet)
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Upper respiratory tract infection
- Back pain
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy
- Monitor potassium levels in blood
- Caution in patients with kidney or liver disease
- Risk of low blood pressure (hypotension)
- Avoid use with potassium supplements
