Indication
- Essential hypertension (high blood pressure) - Cardiovascular risk reduction - Prevention of myocardial infarction - Stroke prevention in high-risk patients
Ingredients
- Telmisartan
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, with or without food. Swallow tablets whole with water.
Side effects
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Back pain
- Sinusitis or congestion
- Diarrhea
- Fatigue or tiredness
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy
- Monitor for high potassium levels
- Avoid use with aliskiren
- Caution in patients with liver disease
- Risk of low blood pressure
- Monitor kidney function regularly
