Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Chronic stable angina pectoris - Vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal's angina) - Raynaud's phenomenon
Ingredients
- Nifedipine
Direction
Take orally as prescribed by a physician. Tablets should be swallowed whole with water and not crushed or chewed.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (swollen ankles)
- Headache
- Flushing or warmth
- Dizziness
- Palpitations
- Constipation
Precautions
- Avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice
- Monitor blood pressure during treatment
- Use caution in patients with heart failure
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding
- May cause dizziness affecting driving ability
