Indication
- Essential hypertension - High blood pressure management - Replacement therapy for individual components - Initial therapy for severe hypertension
Ingredients
- Telmisartan and Amlodipine Besylate
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily. Can be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (swelling)
- Dizziness
- Back pain
- Fatigue
- Flushing
- Palpitations
Precautions
- Avoid during pregnancy (fetal toxicity)
- Monitor for hypotension/low blood pressure
- Renal function monitoring required
- Risk of hyperkalemia
- Caution in liver impairment patients
