Indication

Manual nasal aspirator for infants — removes nasal mucus and discharge to relieve nasal congestion in babies.

Slight or thick discharge: grasp the air-pump handle, perform continuous pulling movements, and press the nose cup gently against the baby's nostril to create negative pressure. For stubborn nasal excrement, first soften with 3-5 drops of physiological saline, wait ~10 minutes, then aspirate as above. Rinse the nose cup with clean water after use.

Side effects

• Excessive suction may cause minor nasal irritation. Stop use and consult a doctor if bleeding or persistent irritation occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use as a toy. Keep out of reach of children when not in use. If suction tube does not slide smoothly
• apply cooking oil to the sealing ring for lubrication. Consult a paediatrician if congestion persists.
