Indication
- Essential hypertension (high blood pressure) - Cardiovascular risk reduction - Prevention of myocardial infarction - Prevention of stroke
Ingredients
- Telmisartan
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food. Use consistently at the same time each day.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Back pain
- Sinusitis
- Upper respiratory tract infection
- Diarrhea
- Hyperkalemia
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy
- Risk of fetal toxicity/death
- Monitor serum potassium levels
- Caution in renal impairment
- Caution in hepatic impairment
